The SPANZ Conference is designed for Secondary Principals and their Associate Principal (where the role exists and is funded by the Ministry). We welcome your Associate Principal to attend with you or in your place, and they will be invoiced accordingly.
Unfortunately our Conference does not cater for Deputy and Assistant Principals, we invite you to contact the National Association of Secondary Deputy and Assistant Principals for information around their annual conference.
All registration cancellations received one month prior to the start of conference will receive a full refund.
Cancellations after this date will receive a 50% of the original invoice.
There will be no refunds one week prior to the start of conference.
Your partner is welcome to join you at the Principals' Conference and attend sessions, and provided meals. You will need to include them on your registration form and they will be invoiced accordingly ($250 +GST).
Unfortunately for the PA Conference we are unable to extend an invitation to your partner to join us for sessions or allocated meals/activities - we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
All our Business Partners receive first priority for exhibitor space at our Conference. We then contact our previous year Exhibitors and offer them first choice on remaining spaces.

The SPANZ Executive is voted in on an annual basis at the AGM.
You need to be nominated by another member to qualify for the voting process. Please refer to the Voting section, under Events on the website.
We generate two invoices per principal, the first invoice covers your SPANZ professional membership and school legal cover, traditionally the school will cover the cost of this invoice.
We will then separately invoice you for your personal legal cover and SPANZ Union membership, this invoice is paid by the individual, although some schools will also cover this for you.
In our database we have the school address under your contact details, so all invoices are directed here.

SPANZ does not currently offer schools insurance. You will need to contact your local broker for this.
Please note if you have a school legal issue and you are using HarrisonStone as your legal counsel for initial advice (through our legal fund), your insurance company may not allow you to continue using their services if the situation/issue escalates. We encourage you to confirm with your broker/insurance company what your options are.
