Call back days are only taken during the school holidays, during normal term time a Teachers Only Day can be taken and teachers will be paid as usual. The school is still open for students to attend, but there will be a collapsed timetable in place.
You are welcome to join the SPANZ Union if you work under the Secondary Principals’ Agreement.
SPANZ Union works on behalf of those principals in the Collective to negotiate pay and working conditions. Unfortunately this does not currently extend to other agreements.
No, SPANZ has one central office that caters for all NZ Secondary Principals around the country.
